I have never been so miserable...well half true.

Remember me?  Yeah I just lost my blogging mojo for a while maybe it's coming back maybe not?

I spent the weekend visiting my bestie and all my favorite people this  past weekend.  This weekend was also that 5k I signed up for a few months ago.  Yeah well the 5k didn't happen, you see sometimes I forget I'm no longer 21 and I can't handle staying up all night and then functioning the next day.  Then Sunday was depressing because I had to leave my friends and head back to reality 3 hours away.
Which leads me to this list...

Why post grad sucks...

-You have to get a job. (well maybe don't have to but you should or you are now called a bum.)
-All your friends move off in different directions to try to join the big kid world as well.
-It isn't as accptable to dress in Norts and an oversized tee everyday.
-You can't just sleep in when you feel like skipping class work and get the notes from a coworker.
-You can't use being in College as an excuse to eat junk for all meals, you are now just an unhealthy eater.
-Forget naps, going from two naps a day to none is rough.
-You actually have to go to the grocery store and buy food, you can't just run next door and go shopping in the sorority pantry.
-There are no date parties or coke dates.
-Work doesn't just get cancelled.
-Your parents don't pay your bills as easily anymore.
-Parents expect you to buy yourself stuff. (rude)
-When you are around college boys you feel like a pedofile.
-You get tired earlier.
-An exciting night is when you get to stay home and do nothing.

So pretty much post grad life is hard.

My life would suck without you...

This past weekend I was finally reunited with my other half!  Last time we saw each other was in October! That is far too long to be separated.  The past 4 years we haven't lived further than 50 feet from each other and now we live 3 hours apart!  It is tough kids.

Lu is my bestie, my other half, that person I share a brain with.  We usually know what the other is thinking before anything is said.  We met in college we lived in the same dorm, on the same floor and were in the same rush group and ended up pledging the same sorority and have been attached at the hip since.

I have had several best friends throughout my life but none that really stuck like Lu.  I have no doubt we will be besties for life. yo.  She has become apart of my family.

We are those besties that you probably would get annoyed with easily.  We think we are funnier than others probably think we are.  When we talk we jump subject to subject and finish each other sentences.  One girl once told some of our friends that we only care about each other.  Well that was kinda half true, we like puppies too and food.

We spent the weekend doing our favorite things shopping, eating and drinking.  It was a blast.

Then come Sunday morning I realized how out of shape I am, my legs were so sore from shopping all day and evening Saturday.  So yesterday I made myself go to the gym and started the Couch 2 5K.  I think it will be a pretty good workout and it is only 30 mins. Perfect for me because I get over things quickly and am ready to leave the gym after about 5 mins usually.

I had tried the C25k before but I just timed it on my own and didn't really follow it right, but this time I downloaded the app and it uses the music you have on your phone and I love it so far! So here's to hoping I actually finish it.

You see me runnin'...You see me hatin'..

G is an avid runner. Gurrrlll will take off running and return 10 miles later.  Me, you see me running, something is after me!  I do NOT run for fun.

However, along with this new food deprivation diet and boot camp G is putting me through, girl thinks I need to participate in the Color Run and the Warrior Dash.  G says “its only 3.2 miles.”  Well that is 3.2 miles too long for me!

Anywho I agreed to start the Couch to 5k today but we didn’t make it to the gym.  I had to promise G I would run when we got home if we skipped the gym BUT I outsmarted her once again.  I did great today.  I may not have ran but I did not go near that couch.  Step in the right direction, right?

What is this world coming to when I already know the only thing I’m going to enjoy consuming tomorrow is my new chocolate caramel creamer in my coffee that I only recently started drinking.  I just want some Taco Bell.
