My life would suck without you...

This past weekend I was finally reunited with my other half!  Last time we saw each other was in October! That is far too long to be separated.  The past 4 years we haven't lived further than 50 feet from each other and now we live 3 hours apart!  It is tough kids.

Lu is my bestie, my other half, that person I share a brain with.  We usually know what the other is thinking before anything is said.  We met in college we lived in the same dorm, on the same floor and were in the same rush group and ended up pledging the same sorority and have been attached at the hip since.

I have had several best friends throughout my life but none that really stuck like Lu.  I have no doubt we will be besties for life. yo.  She has become apart of my family.

We are those besties that you probably would get annoyed with easily.  We think we are funnier than others probably think we are.  When we talk we jump subject to subject and finish each other sentences.  One girl once told some of our friends that we only care about each other.  Well that was kinda half true, we like puppies too and food.

We spent the weekend doing our favorite things shopping, eating and drinking.  It was a blast.

Then come Sunday morning I realized how out of shape I am, my legs were so sore from shopping all day and evening Saturday.  So yesterday I made myself go to the gym and started the Couch 2 5K.  I think it will be a pretty good workout and it is only 30 mins. Perfect for me because I get over things quickly and am ready to leave the gym after about 5 mins usually.

I had tried the C25k before but I just timed it on my own and didn't really follow it right, but this time I downloaded the app and it uses the music you have on your phone and I love it so far! So here's to hoping I actually finish it.

Diary of a Mad Hungry Fat Girl Day 2...

 photo diet_zpsda6773aa.gif

It's Day 2 of my Military Diet.
There is a reason the word Diet has the word DIE in it.
You are suppose to wait until Day 4 to weigh, so if I do indeed die at least weigh me to see if it worked first.

Lunch is the hard part for me.
Breakfast wasn't bad yesterday it was something I would normally eat half a grapefruit and toast with PB.
Lunch is was hard.  I just love dry tuna. -said no one ever.  I had a cup of tuna plain and a piece of wheat toast.
And dinner wasn't bad I had tilapia, half a banana, half an apple, a cup of green beans and a cup of ice cream.  I could do without the ice cream, I am more of salty person.
Today though I may not make it kids...
I am STARVING!!!
I feel tired and blahh but I can't have my green tea or coffee.
My lunch to look forward to is a hardboiled egg and a cup of cottage cheese complete with 5 crackers.
And FIVE whole crackers? Well weren't they generous.
What? I usually shove 5 in my mouth at one time.

Plus my fitness pal says I am not getting enough calories.  Really? Because I would had thought the 5 crackers were putting me over the edge.

I don't like quitting things, but maybe if I just tweak this "diet" so its no longer a "diet" and more of a lifestyle change it will be more my thang.

I don't know whether to stop this nonsense right now and just eat really healthy or continue on... maybe to my death.....

Diary of a Mad Fat Girl...

Wanna split an ice cube?  My diet started today.

I hate working out.  When someone says they love working out, I immediately begin to think they have a problem with lying.

I love to eat.  I was always a skinny child and could eat everything in sight and not gain a pound until junior year of college when my metabolism came to a screeching halt.  ugh betch.

Instead of working out and eating healthy I just took more naps and ate more fast food.  Unlike freshman year this diet didn't make me lose 10 lbs I gained like two new bodies.  Maybe not two whole new bodies, but I was the biggest I have ever been and felt like crap. My cheeks looked like I was hoarding marshmallows.

When I moved home after graduation,  I ate a little better and my sister made me work out some so I lost a little but I haven't been consistent.

Well now G decides she is going to get married and my busted can of biscuits self has to get into a dress.  She doesn't like the style of moo moos so I have to figure something else out like losing some weight.  This body is not the rock solid body it once was.

I'm one for quick results hence my love for spray tans and fast food.

I trying the military diet because it is only 3 days and people have lost like 10 lbs doing this. I know the healthy way would be a different route but I don't care I'm trying this out.  Plus it will be healthier than running to McD's or Bueno so shut it.

If it works I will let y'all know!

Like that one chip is gonna make a difference...wasn't even a whole chip...

On the way home from the gym S was starving.  When we arrived home Mama C wasn’t quite done with dinner so I opened a string cheese.  S was really starting to get cranky and I could tell we were about 14 seconds away from a meltdown so I started to offer her half of it just to hold her over for the next few minutes before dinner was ready.  BEFORE I could extend my hand in her direction or even get the words, “would you like the rest of this?,” out of my mouth S snatched it out of my hand and shoved it into her mouth in one swift motion.  I’m lucky I still have all of my fingers.

S feels the NEED to buy a Cosmo magazine every time we check out at Wal-Mart, no exceptions.  On our road trip I flipped through the latest issue and read the article on Megan Fox.  Obviously, she’s married to Brian Austin Green.

If you don’t know who that is, stop reading our blog now, you are worthless to me.

That girl claims that when she met him she had no idea who he was because she was too young for 90210.   She is only 1 year younger than me and I kid you not, I have seen every episode of 90210 on multiple occasions.

Mama C may have had strict rules against watching the Simpsons or MTV until I was 20 but I can assure you, 5 year old me always got her weekly dose of the Brenda, Kelly, and Dylan triangle!

There is no way I am the only person who thinks that girl is full of shit, right?  Doesn't everyone love 90210?
