Better late than never.

I'm a little behind on getting my planner for the new year, but of course you can't just go and buy any planner that is a commitment you are making for an entire year.   Sometimes a whole year and a few months!

Last year I went with a Lilly Pulitzer planner, which I loved.  It was the perfect size and I loved the set up.

I went to the Lilly website to order a new one last week and they were no where to be found on the site!!!

So now I am on the hunt for a new planner.

G and Mama C both use Erin Condren planner's and while I love their planners I have to be honest that I wouldn't get the full $50+ out of my planner because sometimes I do forget to write in it for a week or two. Imagine that.

Here are some planners I have found that I am considering...

What planners do you all suggest?

Whomp whomp whomp

I received the doomed email from Google...

It's time to renew the domain name.  I have been dreading this email for months! I must be living under a stupid rock because I have spent HOURS trying to figure out how in the heck to renew my domain name!

This is the page I come to and according to tutorials and such there is suppose to be a billing or domain tab?!  Said tab is suppose to lead me to fix my problem yet I don't see such a tab!

If anyone can help me out with this I will love you forever!

She has arrived!

I went home this weekend and I am so glad I did.  G had her baby!

Baby Hudson arrived Saturday morning arriving two weeks early.  I am officially an auntie.  She loves me already!

I also got to spend some time with my favorite girl!
BabyGirl came to stay the night this weekend as well.  I miss her so much I love when I get to spend the weekends playing with her.
She is growing way too fast, but still insistent on having that bottle!

Hope everyone else had a great weekend as well!

Spring Semester

Most colleges are starting back to classes next week and with a new semester brings new classes and new books.

Ever thought of renting your text books?

Perks of renting:
Save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
FREE Shipping both ways
Flexible renting periods
and they donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented.

I know I always found myself spending a lot more on buying the books than I ever got back.

If you need books for the new semester go check out CampusBookRentals.com  they also have a
RentBack program where you can rent out your books instead of selling them back.

Score Big

We have Rachel with Rachel Marie PR guest posting on the blog today, it's a good thing someone is posting because we all know I haven't been doing such a great job with that.  After you read about her Super Bowl snacks head on over to her blog and check it out!

Score Big With These Super Bowl Snacks

How many of you are hosting a Super Bowl party? Or, going to watch the game at a friend or family member's home?

Either way, you will probably be whipping up some snacks for you and your fellow party-goers to munch on while watching the game, commercials (probably my favorite part) and Bruno Mars and The Red Hot Chili Peppers during the halftime show.

Not sure what you are going to make yet? Don't just go to the store and pick up a generic, run-of-the-mill veggie or meat and cheese tray - try these ideas to help make this the tastiest Super Bowl party your friends will attend.

There are many other great, and easy, ideas on my Pinterest board of Super Bowl Munchies. What other great ideas do you have for snack for football parties - or any other gathering in general? Share your thoughts and ideas!

Those 5 Blog Post I Skip...

Everyone does it, you know you do.
Sometimes even if it is your most favorite blogger you skip over a post they write.
It doesn't mean you hate them or their blog just sometimes ain't nobody got time for that.

5 Blog posts I usually skip

1.  Your dog. Don't get me wrong kids I love pups but I don't really care to read a post just about your pooch. Sorry I'm not sorry.

2. Running.  Some may enjoy it, me on the other hand it just doesn't row my boat.

3.  If you are doing a post on your new mani or pedi.  I may like it on Instagram but I'm not reading about it.

4.  A post of 50 different pictures posing in the same outfit.  I love shopping, I like seeing people put cute outfits together but after 3 pictures I get the point I don't need a whole post dedicated to that one outfit.

5.  Most sponsored posts or posts about becoming a Sponsor.

I must say I am sure I have done a post or two like these but I just have realized these are the type I am most likely to not read and skip on to the next.

What types of posts are you all most likely to skip over?

Cream Cheese Chicken Chili

Since I discovered how easy it is to cook in a crockpot I have been trying to do it more often.
This of course is where Pinterest comes in and where I find all my recipes of course!

Yesterday I decided to make Cream Cheese Chicken Chili.

Ingredients:
Chicken (I used 4 frozen breasts)
1 can of Rotel
1 can of corn (not drained)
1 can of black beans(not drained)
1 package of ranch mix
half a package of taco seasoning
A few shakes of chili powder
A few shakes of onion powder
1 block of Cream Cheese

What I did:
I put the chicken in the crockpot (frozen) then I poured everything else except the cream cheese on top, set the crockpot on high for 3 hours.
After 3 hours I added the cream cheese.
I tried to cut up the cream cheese the best I could so it would melt better.
Then I took down my Christmas tree and hung out for another hour while that cooked.

Currently this Sunday...

Currently...

Reading:  The Wolf of Wall Street

Writing:  This blog post.

Listening: The movie Warm Bodies

Thinking:  I can't believe the Holidays are over and will I ever feel like going to the gym?

Smelling: My butter rum candle

Wishing: That just thinking about working out would bring the same results as actually working out.

In the New Year...

While I am not  much of one for New Years resolutions because lets be honest I would just be the next chubby girl in the gym for the week before calling it quits two weeks later, I have some thing I would like to try to do more of in the new year.

Cameo Silhouette Projects

I LOVE my Cameo it is an awesome machine but the main thing I have done with it is vinyl projects and their is so much more you can do.  I would like to try some more things out.

Sewing
I wanted a sewing machine and G got me one for Christmas last year which I love but I just haven;t made the time to sit down and try to figure it out, except that one time I did watch a YouTube video on how to thread the machine.

Hanging out in the gym

Uggh I said it.  This is more of a need because the size of my ass is getting out of control and I am sick of looking like I am playing a game of chubby bunny in all my pictures.

Attempting to eat better and possibly smaller quantities.

When it comes to sweets I can easily turn those down but a few things I just can't turn down, pizza,  queso, french fries anything that would go into the unhealthy category.

Save more.
I would like to try to put more money in savings in 2014.
