I'm not saying you're old, but if you were milk I wouldn't drink you.

Today is....G's Birthday!! Happy Birthday Seester!!
The best big sister ever, well most days anyway, like when you take me to lunch and don't make me pay, or walk me to all my classes the first week of college, except you then told everyone about it and still do, when you always bought me stuff when I didn't have a job, or drive your car everywhere so I don't have to use my gas, when you wear flats and I wear heels so I can be the taller one for the night, when you told that betch in Kindergarden to back off because she teased me about seeing my panties on the playground the time I wore that super cute dress, or when we went to that girls birthday when I was 3 and you swatted my hand when I went to get a cupcake because they had too many animals in their house and you didn't think it was sanitary.
sister birthday
(just kidding, kinda)
So now this gets me thinking you are pretty nice I guess I won't keep your $60 I found in my room and hoped you forgot about.  Have a wonderful Birthday even though sometimes I think you are now about as fun as watching paint dry.

I didn't get you a cake because I didn't want this to happen again....

But I hope you have a much fun on your birthday as you did this year...

Get yoself a drink...

And Happy Birthday to your bestie! Love you girls!

So What!

Linking up for So What! Wednesday.
So what...
That I havent been to the gym all week.  I haven't felt like it and I didn't want to ruin my spray tan yesterday.

That I had two mini cupcakes for breakfast this morning and I loved every bite.

That my coworker's existence is really annoying me today.

That sometimes I flip him off on the other side of the wall when he asks me something.

That I just want to be a stay at home daughter. Seriously someone should pay me to stay at home and craft and shit.

That sometimes I refer to my parents as my room mates.

That I really want Pei Wei right now, but it's only 10 am.

Lol

Happy Hump Day!

There is Good in Goodbye.

It's a long one, but I had to make things kind of interesting around here...

In case some of you have noticed G has been MIA on the blog, well all Summer.  Let me just tell you about where she has been.   LaLa Land. Girl met a boy.  Probs the ONE or so they are thinking.  What can you say at that age these kids are no longer Spring chickens, you have to move quicker with things than the younger couples. I'm sure when she finally reads this she will kill me, but it is worth my entertainment.

(G and her new Boyfriend)
(Just kidding her and her bf aren't as cute as this couple)

I'm just kidding I am happy she finally found someone she still likes after a week.  Let me tell you she isn't always easy on guys.  She is very blunt and can be easily annoyed and lets them know.  I get embarassed for them at times and have learned not to become too attached.

She has good reasoning I suppose.  She isn't the type that has alot of boyfriends. Sure she goes on dates but as far as letting them be her boyfriend, not a chance.  So we all knew she must like this one if she agreed to that.

hahaha...my ex. :)

Her last boyfriend (Dumb Dumb) she met in college and dated him for 4 or 5 years. He played football at another college and thought he was God's gift.  After a few years he started talking marriage, and they began wedding planning.  Red flags go up for me, he was A LOT of talk and no action, plus he said my precious dog Sophie couldn't be in the wedding (rude). Which was kind of weird because he was always the one bringing up getting married not her.

lol taylor swift = accurate. carrie underwood = accurate. miranda lambert = accurate. bless this post.

Anyway long story short  one day after she had thankfully decided they should hold off on any wedding plans until she was out of college and well when he would finally officially PROPOSE, he showed up at our apartment and told her he was going to be a father! Ha. Weird because she wasn't pregnant. He had been cheating on her and claimed he hated this girl? Yeah makes sense huh. They finally break up a month or so later when she realizes she does not want to help his cheating ass raise a baby that isn't hers, even though it should have been immediately.  Months later she finds out Dumb Dumb had several other girlfriends from school who knew about her. All I have to say is everyone in this ordeal is DUMB.

Livin' the ecard Life
Story ends like this she realizes how much time she has wasted and laughs about her stupidity all those years and moves on two minutes later. He ends up marrying the girl he can't stand and has 2 children with her. Bless her heart, his poor wife has no idea the things he said about her and does.

One more kicker here he texts her last week after like 4 years and wants to see her. Bahahaha. She declined.
So anyway maybe there are wedding bells in G's future with her new boyfriend.

Keep Calm and Craft On....

So I am a crafter.  Am I a good crafter? Of course well thats debateable.  I am one of those that have way more craft supplies than I need or will ever use.  I just love crafting and I am dangerous in Hob Lob. I am trying to talk my dad into adding me a craft room onto the house since most of my supplies have taken over Mama C's tanning bed room. I do have this hobby under control, I think.
(The Cricut)

Well I have been wanting a Cricut machine for a while now, but wasn't really sure how easy they are to use or which one is the best to buy ect.   During my random web searches I came across the Cameo Silhouette machine, which seems very similar to the Cricut only maybe better? From my understanding it works like a printer only it cuts the designs into whatever material , like vinyl. It does seem a little pricer than the Cricut, but it seems like it does everything I would want it to do and doesn't seem to be too difficult to use.  I have searched and compared and I can't really find any bad reviews for the machine.

(The Cameo Silhouette)

Does anyone own one or have used one?  What do you think of it?  I would like to learn more before I drop that dough ya know?

Hop Time

Today I am trying a new linkup with Chelsea from the Yours Truly blog.
I Love linking up, probably because I don't have to be creative on my own and think of a post. :)

From what I understand the Rules are simple you can go to Yours Truly and follow all the hosts and co hosts.  You can grab a button on her site and then take a couple minutes to visit some other people who have linked up and let them know you stopped by from the Return The Favor hop - and hopefully they will return the favor!

Happy Hump Day!

I know who I am today because I knew you....

Is it FRIDAY yet?!  This week has actually gone by fairly quickly, but I am always ready for Friday!  Tomorrow I will be traveling back to my college town to see some of my sorority sisters for Alumni skit night.  I am excited not just to see everyone, but to see the skit.  The skit was always my favorite part of recruitment along with the great songs of course.

(My last Alumni Skit Night with my Littles)
Our chapter always did a Wicked skit.  A very talented sister put together our skit and rewrote some of the Wicked songs to fit Phi Mu and go along with recruitment. My favorite song that we would do is "For Good".  It was such a hit when a national officer came to visit and help out with recruitment she asked to take the skit and see about making it THE Phi Mu skit to use during recruitment.  I am not sure if the girls are still using the skit this year or changed things up, but I can't wait to see it all.  My precious G Little is the recruitment chair this year and I know she is going to do a wonderful job.
Anyone else have a favorite part about recruitment?
