It's true. I'm a jerk.
I missed my own Blogiversary.
(G and I waaayyyy back in the day.)
Back in the day (one year ago), which happened to be a Wednesday, March 21st my sister G and I started occupying this space on the interwebz, just writing about random things in life. This was when G actually carried her weight and I didn't have to kick her off my blog to start her own.
What do you know a year later I am still here. Who says I can't commit to anything?
A year ago I had zero followers, I didn't know anyone with a blog or even really how it worked, my mom wasn't even following me.
I hate to be that person that says "people told me to start a blog so I did" because then you are thinking "oh girl shut up no one said for you to start a blog", but a few did so I thought about it for a long time and when I graduated college, had no life and didn't have shat else to do it happened and I am so glad I did.
I love this little blog and have met so many great people through blogging. I have learned so much over the past year, yet I still feel like a new blogger most of the time.
I guess I can now consider myself a blogger. Right? Should I have like business cards or something made? Quit my job to blog?
After all I do have a fancy camera. (So what if I have never used it to take pictures for the blog.)
I own several bauble necklaces and a chevron dress.
I love Target. (I still have never one a giftcard through a giveaway though.)
I finally bought a MacBook.
Don't all those things make me an official blogger now?
Except for one little thing....the Mormon's still haven't contacted me about being inducted into the secret blogging circle. I'm sure they just got my URL wrong or my email wasn't linked correctly.
Most of all though Thank You to all my readers without you I would just be talking to myself all the time. Maybe that is still kinda true, but never mind.
If you have never commented do so and leave me your blog URL I would love to visit. :)
Lol cute , I cant wait til I can officially say Im a blogger
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I love reading your blog. You keep me laughing!! :) Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteP.S. It was the bauble necklaces that made you a credible blogger. ;)
