Dirty Hurr Don't Currr.

Happy Monday Party People!

I overslept this morning because for some reason I set my alarm for 5:45 P.M. instead of A.M.  Thank the good Lord for Mama C waking me up at 6:20 or no telling when I would have woke up.

Since I was running late,  I didn't even wash my hair when I showered this morning.  I NEVER do that.  This hurr of mine gets washed everyday sometimes twice a day.  I know I have been told that isn't good, but I wasn't blessed with that thick kind of hair that just looks better as the days go unwashed.  If I don't wash it everyday it starts to look greasy and I won't be having that.

I had bought some dry shampoo a while back but had not been brave enough to skip the daily wash until this morning and so far so good.  My hair actually seems like it has more volume.  I just used the cheapo Suave kind and I don't hate it.  I think I need to get one of those grandma wire brushes though and it should help.

Anywho after browsing my daily reads it appears everyone and their dog watched the Grammy's but me.  I was busy playing Bunko.  It was only my second time to play and it is a blast even though I'm not so good.  I was filling in for someone who didn't show, my good friend B invited me and we had so much fun.  I will be making her a blog soon.  Girlfrand is hilarious and she is an awesome baker.

Big Kid World is calling.
 Later Gators!

  1. girlll dry shampoo is my BFF. My favorites are batiste and oscar blandi. You really have to train your hair to go every other day - I always thought the same about washing my hair every day but I just do every other day now! THANK GOD for dry shampoo!

  2. Seriously I'm addicted to dry shampoo. I've used a couple kinds with Tigi's Rockaholic & Cat Walk Sessionseries being my fav.

I use to wash my hair twice a day until I found out it was really drying my thick hair out. whomp whomp.

  3. I did not watch the Grammys either!! But I was not lucky enought o be playing Bunco instead. Can't wait to meet B!

I love dry shampoo, but I do not like the scent of the Suave kind. But I also don't want to invest in a more expensive one. So here's to smelly dirty hair! :)

  4. I used to be a wash my hair every day girl. My hair is fine and it sometimes gets greasy by the end of the workday. Now I wash my hair once every 2-3 days. It took a little bit of training though. Baby powder is my BFF, I like it better than dry shampoo for soaking up the grease at my roots. You just have to hang in there with your dirty hair routine and I promise your hair will get used to it.

  5. Keep experimenting with the dry shampoo, it is AMAZING!! I spray in a ton of it, flip my head, and after its dry, brush it out with a paddle brush. It really does add a ton of volume! I was the same way on daily greasy hair, and it took me maybe 4-6 weeks to "train" my hair, but now I only wash it twice a week. And it is awesome having that much more free time to myself :)

  6. i hate dry shampoo, i feel like it makes my hair extra goopy and thick. i have thick hair and oily skin and those two combinations just don't allow for every other day washes. once in awhile I'll throw some baby powder in it. i also didn't watch the grammys, but i usually don't watch award shows.

  8. I'm glad I'm not the only one who went cheap and used the sauve dry shampoo! It's honestly not that bad, but I will say, it's not better than the more expensive brands. Sad. Anyway, I nominated you for a Liebster Award. Yea, I don't know for sure what that is either, but it's on my blog if you want to take a look!
